Mount Olive Police Athletic League
2010 Fishing Derby
Due to the impending inclement weather, the derby will be held on May 2nd.
RULES:
Children must be between 6 and 12 years of age and resident of Mt. Olive or sponsor.
A parent or guardian must accompany all children registered.
All fishing is to be done by the child. Parent may help casting but the child must catch the fish.
Any violation of rules by a parent will be cause for disqualification.
Each child must bring a fishing pole, bucket and bait. No bucket, no fishing!
The derby will be held April 25th (rain date May 2nd).
The derby will start at 10:00 AM and fishing will end at 3:00pm. Prizes and trophies will follow.
The winning categories will be: biggest fish, smallest fish and most fish.
Other contests include: best-dressed, most helpful and funniest fisherman.
Open to Mt. Olive Twp. residents or sponsors only.
Cost of derby is $10. Additional donations will be accepted.
Deadline to enter is April 10th (limited enrollment so register early!).
Derby will be held at PAL Pond, Kevin Drive, Flanders. Directions: From Route 206- Take Flanders-Netcong Road, make left on Flanders-
Drakestown Road, left on Tinc Road, right on Kevin Drive (pond is on left). From Route 46- Take Wolfe Road, make left on Flanders-
Drakestown Road, right on Tinc Road, right on Kevin Drive (pond is on left).
