Crown Victoria The Mount Olive Township Police use a variety of vehicles to perform their duties. Our primary patrol vehicle is the Ford Crown Victoria. Each cruiser is equipped with radios, radar, a Mobile Data Computer, a Mobile Video Recorder, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, shotgun, safety flares and other necessary equipment.



2008 Dodge Charger This 2008 Dodge Charger is used to assist the department's efforts to combat aggressive driving. This unmarked vehicle is equipped with strobe and LED emergency lights and is operated by a uniformed officer.





2005 Dodge Pickup The department utilizes this 2005 Dodge Ram Pickup primarily for inclement weather and to access remote locations. One of its first assingments was to travel to New Orleans during the Hurricane Katrina relief effort.





2001 Ford Expedition The department also utilizes two Ford Expeditions which are needed for their four wheel drive capabilities during periods of inclement weather and to access remote, off-road areas when needed.





DARE Truck and Trailer This 2001 Ford Expedition is currently being used as the department's DARE vehicle.






BMW bicycle The department utilizes four bicycles (two were donated to the department from BMW.) The bicycles are used to supplement daily patrol and will be used for special events such as parades, concerts and sporting events.






MPH Radar Trailer The department utilizes this radar trailer to increase compliance with the speed limits on Township roads. The trailer operates on solar power and can be moved to problem areas as they are identified. Residents may request the trailer for their neighborhood by calling the Traffic Bureau at 973-691-0900 ext. 7555.








1989 Ford F-350 This 1989 Ford was acquired after serving several years with the Flanders Fire Company and Rescue Squad. It will be utilized as a mobile command center for major incidents.
