Email Me Donald Gardner started his career with the Mount Olive Township Police Department in 1983 after serving in the U.S. Army, 18th Airborne Corps, 118th Military Police Company K-9 Unit in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. In May 2007 he was promoted to Captain and currently serves as the Operations Division Commander. He has served prior assignments as Investigations Division Commander, Sergeant in the Patrol Division, Field Training Officer, Special Operations Unit Team Leader, Detective, K-9 Unit Supervisor and Patrol Officer. Capt. Gardner has received numerous departmental awards including a Medal of Honor, Life Saving Award, Meritorious Service Award, Program Development Award, Military Service Award and Grand Cordon Medal. Capt. Gardner is a member of the Morris County Critical Incident Debriefing Team and the Morris County Detectives Association. He is also a graduate of Northwestern University's School of Police Staff and Command. |
