Officer Rick Lindner


Officer Lindner joined the department in February 1988 and is currently assigned to the Patrol Division. He is a department PR-24 baton instructor and CPR instructor. In the past he has served as a DARE instructor. He has received several departmental awards including two Exceptional Duty Awards, a Meritorious service Award, four Life Saving Awards, an Educational Achievement Award and three Letters of Commendation. Lindner received an Associate of Science degee from County College of Morris and has additional credits from Rutgers and John Jay College. He also completed the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area course. Officer Lindner retired in 2013 after 25 years of dedicated service to the residents of Mount Olive.
