E-mail Me Officer Michael Strada joined the force in 1995 and worked in the Patrol Division until January 2005, when he was assigned to the Investigations Division. During his career he has received numerous departmental awards including the 1998 Knights of Columbus Shield Award, the Morris County 200 Club 2001 Valor Award for rescuing a Flanders family suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning, three Meritorious Service awards, three Life Saving awards, an Educational Achievement award, and a Military Service award. Prior to joining the department, Officer Strada served for two years with the Morris County Sheriff's Office. Prior to this he served four years in the U.S. Army with the 82nd Airborne Division and is a veteran of Desert Storm. Strada is a department instructor for physical training, CPR and the Automated External Defibrilator. Officer Strada also assisted in developing the department's defibrillator program. He has served as a department Field Training Officer and is a certified Emergency Medical Technician. |
