After joining the department in August 1995, Clymer was assigned to the Patrol Division. In 2001 she was assigned to the Investigations Division before returning to the Patrol Division in 2002. She is currently assigned as an Officer of the Day and supervises a patrol squad in the absence of a sergeant. Clymer is an F.B.I. trained hostage negotiator and also a former Field Training Officer. Officer Clymer's awards include the 2002 Knights of Columbus Shield Award, an Honorable Service award, two Grand Cordons and an Educational Achievement award. She is a 1993 graduate of West Chester University of Pennsylvania and holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice.
