Email Me Officer John Bevacqua joined the force in 1995 and has since been assigned to the Patrol Division. He currently serves as a department Physical Fitness Instructor as well as a Firearms Instructor. During his career he has received numerous departmental awards including two Life Saving awards, an Educational Achievement award, a Military Service award and an Honorable Service award. In 1999 he received the Americanism Award from the American Legion, Musconetcong Post 278 for his actions relating to an ice rescue on Budd Lake. In 2001 he received the Morris County 200 Club Award for rescuing a Flanders family suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning. Prior to joining the department, Officer Bevacqua served in in the United States Marine Corp as a Military Policeman. He also received his A.S. in Criminal Justice at County College of Morris. |
