![]() Email Me Officer Mase started his career with the department in August 1999. He is currently assigned to the Patrol Division and is one of the department's certified D.A.R.E. Officers. Mase is also one of the department's Drug Recognition Experts. He is a graduate of County College of Morris and holds an A.S. in Criminal Justice. Mase's departmental awards include two Lifesaving Awards, an Honorable Service Award, a Program Development Award and an Educational Achievement Award. Officer Mase is also a certified 911 operator. Officer Mase has participated in the Police Unity Tour the past four years riding from New Jersey to Washington DC in memory of fallen police officers. Officer Mase also takes great pride in being one of the department's Field Training Officers. In 2008, he developed the department's Challenge Coin, which is presented to all officers who serve as police officers for the township. He has served the youth of Mount Olive for several years as the President of the Mount Olive Township Police Athletic League. As a Bicycle patrol Officer he enjoys patrolling on bike educating others of the importance of wearing bicycle helmets. Officer Mase is a Certified Radar Operator as well as an instructor for the department. He is pictured above holding the department's hand held laser radar. |
