Officer Turner joined the department in December 1999 and is currently assigned to the Patrol Division. He serves as one of the department's certified Drug Recognition Evaluators and is a member of the Honor Guard. Officer Turner's departmental awards include a Life Saving Award, a Meritorious Service Award, six Honorable Service Awards, three Grand Cordons, a Military Service Award, a Physical Fitness Award and an Educational Achievement Award. He currently serves as the president of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #122. He is a graduate of Penn State University and holds a B.S. in Finance. Officer Turner served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army Rangers and is a veteran of Desert Storm.
