07/26/17- The men and women of the Mount Olive Police Department are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. David Rygielski. “Dr. Dave” as he was affectionately known, was the police department’s physician for many years. He was admired for his skill as a doctor, particularly his diagnostic abilities. He was much loved for his compassion and understanding. He was so respected and cared for that many of our officers made him their family doctor. To many of our officers and people in our community, he was more than just a doctor, he was a confidante and friend. Some people make the world a better place by just being in it. Dr. Dave was one of those people. The Mount Olive Police Department extends our deepest sympathies to Dr. Rygielski’s family, friends, co-workers and colleagues.
07/17/17- Congratulations to Sgt. Paul Ottavinia on his promotion to Sergeant!
